Work Group Introduction

The Network Requirements work group researches and predicts the global development of transport network architectures for interconnection, and repurposes existing standards where appropriate. Related research papers and technical documents are regarded as output for publication. The Network work group works together with the PMD and Form Factor Work Groups to promote and accelerate commercial use in the optoelectronic industry. The Network work group also discusses advanced products and solutions presented by other work groups based on the requirements of operator networks and data center applications.
